“Sustaining Growth – Bridging Horizons” Conference to be Hosted by Ceylon Chamber of Commerce

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its appointment as the Chair of the Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF) for the term 2023 – 2025. In conjunction with this esteemed designation, the Ceylon Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka, will host the “Indian Ocean Rim Association Business Conclave” (IORA Business Conclave) from May 28th to 29th, 2024, at the Shangri-La Colombo.

Themed “Sustaining Growth – Bridging Horizons,” the Conclave will delve into various sectors crucial to global economic dynamics, such as Agriculture, Renewable Energy, ICT, Logistics, SME & Women Empowerment, and Tourism.

Comprising 23 Member States and 12 Dialogue Partners, including major economies and emerging markets, the IORA Business Conclave 2024 aims to unveil unparalleled trade, investment, and business prospects across the Indian Ocean Rim. Entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders will converge to explore new markets, foster strategic partnerships, and capitalize on emerging trends, thus fostering cross-border collaborations and unlocking the region’s vast potential.

The event will feature a diverse agenda, including strategic networking receptions, B-2-B meetings, plenary sessions, and sector-specific breakout sessions, providing insights into the future of commerce across the Indian Ocean Rim.
