Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” Concert Film Now Available for Streaming on Disney+
Taylor Swift fans rejoice as the extended cut of “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” is now accessible in its entirety on Disney+. This special edition, spanning approximately three and a half hours, showcases Swift’s captivating performance of “Cardigan” from her acclaimed 2020 album “Folklore,” a segment previously excluded from earlier releases of the film.
In addition to this, the Disney+ version treats viewers to bonus footage of four acoustic renditions: “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love,” and “I Can See You.” Swift’s acoustic set, renowned for its surprises, reveals two unexpected tracks from her repertoire: “Our Song” from her eponymous debut album and “You’re On Your Own Kid,” a touching nod to the camaraderie fostered by concert attendees through friendship bracelets, originating from her 2023 album “Midnights.”
Having initially premiered in theaters last October, Swift’s “Eras Tour” concert film made waves, amassing a staggering $96 million during its opening weekend in the United States and Canada, as reported by AMC, making it the highest-grossing concert film domestically for an opening weekend, as noted by CNN.
Swift’s record-breaking “Eras Tour” commenced in March 2023 in Arizona and is slated to conclude in December, with her final performance scheduled in Vancouver. While currently on a brief hiatus from the international leg of her tour, Swift is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated 11th studio album titled “The Tortured Poets Department” on April 19. The album boasts collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Post Malone and Florence + the Machine, as revealed in a previously shared tracklist.
